Bay College to Host Youth Basketball Camp

Basketball about to go into a basketball hoop Bay College will be hosting a youth basketball skills camp July 31 – August 2.  The camp will be held in the Bay college Gymnasium at the YMCA in Escanaba, for boys and girls in grades 3-8.  Camp coaches will include the Bay College coaching staff and players.  The cost of the camp is $35 for Non-YMCA members and $30 for YMCA members.  The camp will run from 9-10:30am for grades 3-5 and 10:30-noon for grades 6-8.  All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.  If you would like more information, please email Coach matt Johnson at matt.c.johnson@baycollege.edu or call 906-217-4134.

RRN Sports to Announce Norse Basketball

The Maverick Classic Country WMXG 106.3 FM logo The Radio Results Network announced today that it has secured the rights to broadcast men’s and women’s basketball games for the Bay College Norse when the teams begin their inaugural seasons in November.
 
The broadcasts will all be produced locally over both on-air and on-line platforms under a three-year contract agreement between RRN and the college.  Brand new station, Maverick 106.3 will serve as the flagship station for every men’s and women’s Norse basketball game, both home and away.  The games will also be broadcast live on-line at RRN Sports.

The Bay College Cross Country Team will be hosting a 5K run on the Escanaba Campus on Saturday, April 22 at 10:00 a.m. (EST). All proceeds of the race benefit the Bay College Cross Country Program.

$25.00 per person
$20.00 for Bay College Employees & UPRRC Members
$15.00 for Students

Registration after April 14: $30.00 per person

ESCANABA – Bay College has hired Rae Drake, Jr. as its head women’s basketball coach and Jim Murtha as its head cross country coach, announced Wednesday by Director of Athletics, Matt Johnson.
