The Norse men return to action this Saturday at home against Finlandia University, tip-off is set for 3pm.  The originally scheduled women’s game against Finlandia has been cancelled, as has the women’s game at Finlandia which was schedule for Saturday, February 3.

Bay College Training and Development will be hosting an 8-hour Annual MSHA Refresher course of Part 46 and 48 of the Mine Act, Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).

Dr. Strayhorn will be speaking on the Student Sense of Belonging on February 27 from 2-4 p.m. EST in the Besse Theater on the Escanaba Bay College Campus.  The presentation will be live streamed to room 115 at the Bay College West Campus from 1-3 p.m. CST.  This presentation is free and open to the public.

The recently re-established Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force (UPHTTF) has teamed together with the Department of Justice, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, several Upper Peninsula Law Enforcement Agencies, and other local “experts” in the field to bring Human Trafficking Community Awareness to the UP in a week-long event during Human Trafficking Awareness Month.  Beginning Monday, January 22, 2018 the group will be presenting presentations across the U.P. at local colleges and universities.

Kaylee Hubert was a recipient of the Bay College Board Elite Scholarship for Academic Year 2017-2018.  The Bay College Board Elite Scholarship is awarded each year to an academically deserving student at West Campus and the Escanaba Campus.  The award covers tuition, fees and textbooks at Bay College.
