On Thursday, January 5, 2017, all offices at both Bay College campuses (Escanaba and Iron Mountain) will be closed in the morning for employee training. Staff and administrative offices in Escanaba will open at 1:30 p.m. ET and remain open until 5:00 p.m. ET.

Bay College campuses will be closed Saturday, December 24, 2016 through Sunday, January 1, 2017 in observance of the holidays. Bay College will re-open on Monday, January 2, 2017.

Each year, Bay College participates in the Liberal Arts Network for Development (LAND) Writing Competition. Any current Bay College student is eligible to submit up to three entries in each of three categories: fiction, poetry, and essay.

Winter semester is drawing near at Bay College, but it is not too late to become a student at Bay College for the winter semester!  Those interested in attending Bay College as a new student are encouraged to attend our Rapid Enrollment Event on December 8th and 9th at both the Escanaba and Iron Mountain campuses.

Bay College announces the reception for the Student Art Exhibition. The exhibition of their work can be viewed from December 6 -January 9, 2017 and the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony is Tuesday December 6th at 2 pm.

Bay College West announces, Expressions, an exhibition of artworks featuring the work of various student artists. The public is invited to the Opening Reception to meet the student artists on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in the Lower Commons of Bay College West from 6 PM to 8 PM CST. Refreshments will be served and Valari Swanson, pianist, will perform.

The Bay de Noc Community College Academic Support Team is holding its biannual Night Against Procrastination (N.A.P.) from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Thursday, December 1st in the Student Success Center portion of the HUB building on Escanaba’s campus. Coffee, healthy snacks, and academic resources will be available for students while they practice the art of combatting procrastination.
