Why Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy is a great pathway for people seeking a rewarding career in a fast growing complementary and integrative health care industry.
Currently there is a high demand for massage therapists, great income potential, flexible hours, a variety of potential work settings, opportunities for growth, and work that allows you to improve the physical and mental well-being of others.
Bay College is proud to be an Assigned School through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and BodyWork (NCBTMB). This 625-hour massage program prepares students for the Massage and BodyWork Licensure Examination (MBLEX).
The MBLEX exam is separate from this program. After completing this program, a student must pass the MBLEX and then to apply for a license in the state in which they plan to work.
